Even before fully reading this story – Memorial Held for Freshman Slain While Crossing Freeway I saw the keywords “after attending the Alpha Epsilon Pi Film Fest after-party at Costa Mesa’s Shark Club when he was hit by two cars and killed. Oh wait, there is no such thing as the “constitutional right not to be offended.” Oh well, there might as well be nowadays. The people who saw the event admit that they think Kappa Alpha was not trying to be racist, just that they were offended and it was “insensitive” of Kappa Alpha to dare remember part of the souths history.
Kappa Alpha has since apologized. I say that is not enough. Those horrible insensitive animals at Kappa Alpha should be sued, their national sued, their house burnt to the ground, they should ejected from the college and never allowed to enter the hollowed halls of higher learning again! (nor their children and children’s children!) That will teach them to be sensitive, tolerant and diverse. They need to be as tolerant as anyone else, say as much as a group who might be offended over a display of another groups display of cultural history! HOW DARE THEY! Confederate uniforms and sorority girls in hoop skirts! Hey, i have an idea, why don’t they get rid of that entire “old south event” —oh wait, some Political correct thug already suggested that.
