Lawsuit filed over Sigma Alpha Mu pledge death at University of Delaware

“filed a wrongful death suit that claims fraternity members let him languish after forcing him to drink a large amount of alcohol.”

“18-year-old Griffin was taking part in a “mandatory” fraternity function as a pledge, and was pressured into consuming an excessive amount of Southern Comfort.”

“fraternity brothers watched over an incapacitated Griffin, but did not call for medical assistance for hours,”

“didn’t do anything until the teen’s lips started turning blue and it was too late.”

and lots of other damning quotes can be found at delawareonline.com

Either way a kid is dead cause his brothers-to-be told him to drink until he died and a kid let him self be told to drink himself to death.

  • Fraternity men continue to be their own worst enemy. It is amazing that chapters engage in this type of reckless behavior after all the negative publicity fraternities have received the past 20 years.

I am a first time visitor to the site - and think it is a very valuable resource. Keep up the good work.
